This blog has been pretty critical of the news media in past blitherings. None of the venom was ever directed at Tim Russert. The reason, he was always fair, honest, and almost always let the facts make the case. I watched Meet The Press regularly as it was always informative, to the point and spinless. Not like the Hannity, Olberman, O'Reilly and friends opinion parade.
I will miss Tim Russert and I know millions share my sentiments. My thoughts go out to the family, and especially to Big Russ.

What a heartfelt tribute today to him on Meet the Press. I shed a few tears along with Tom. He will be sorely missed.
