T. Boone Pickens apparently has had enough. He is tired of waiting for our paid leaders to create any energy policy, let alone a sensible one. This 80 year old billionaire oil man is stepping up to the plate with his own money to form a strategy for the future. It appears to be a new and bold approach.
It appears he is suggesting an approach that includes solar, wind, natural gas, etc. Imagine someone trying to use all technologies available and imagined to solve our energy problems. What a concept!!! Are you listening congress?
I am convinced that our future is best served by citizens, captains of industry and the like stepping up and demanding to be heard. Our elected leaders are preoccupied with fighting each other and have lost the concept of serving our country. CEO's and the like are only fixed on stockholders returns and if something is good for them then so be it even if it is bad for our country.
So, my hat is off to T. Boone Pickens. It appears a member of The Greatest Generation may not be done having an impact on our country. Perhaps he will begin a movement saving our way of life just one more time.
